Kantor pusat BMW telah merangkum seluruh penghargaan yang didapat merek asli Jerman ini sepanjang tahun 2016. Semua jenis mobil BMW yang masuk sebagai nominasi pemenang dalam beragam kategori, memiliki rekam jejak yang sempurna untuk hadir sebagai pemenang. 

Ragam penghargaan tersebut tidak hanya merefleksikan kualitas tinggi dari produk BMW, namun juga cita rasa desain, inovasi, konektivitas, teknologi dan juga prinsip pengembangan berkelanjutan. Panel juri setiap penghargaan tersebut hadir dari berbagai latar belakang, mulai dari jurnalis dan para pembaca media otomotif, sampai para ahli di bidang IT, bisnis, lingkungan, dan desain.   

Beberapa penghargaan yang diraih oleh BMW dan sangat membanggakan adalah saat all-new BMW Seri 7 secara global mendapatkan penghargaan sebagai  “World Car Award” dan “Best Car”; serta beberapa pencapaian penting tahun 2016 juga dipelopori oleh model-model kendaraan yang baru saja diluncurkan, seperti BMW M2 Coupé dan juga BMW Seri 5.
